Scholarship Coverage:
Stanford University Scholarships offer the following incentives to recipients:
- A travel allowance designed to cover an economy-class ticket to and from Stanford for one annual trip.
- A living and academic stipend (which covers housing and board, books, academic supplies, instructional materials, local transportation, and modest personal expenses).
- A fellowship that is used to pay tuition (at the usual departmental enrollment level) and associated costs.
- The Knight-Hennessy Scholars program does not usually pay expenses incurred by your home department at Stanford, such as subscriptions or lab equipment.
- Knight-Hennessy Scholars may also apply for additional funding to help with scholarly activities (such as conference travel).
Requirement
To be eligible for Stanford University Scholarships, you must meet the following qualifications:
- English is a necessary language.
- The Knight-Hennessy Scholars Program accepts applications from all countries for first- or bachelor’s degrees completed in 2015 or later, with enrollment in 2022. If you apply within four years of completing your first or bachelor’s degree and enrol within five years, you are qualified to apply.
- You must have first-rate mental sharpness, be curious and open to new experiences, be creative and full of unique ideas, be able to make sense of ambiguous conditions, and the ability to maintain a divergent or opposing opinion.
- In addition to submitting your Knight-Hennessy Scholars application, you must complete the remainder of the application process, which may include taking any required standardised tests for your graduate degree program (such as the GMAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, and so on), as well as an English proficiency test if necessary.
- You must be ambitious, eager to improve yourself, and willing to take risks. self-aware, persistent, and capable of overcoming obstacles. Personal characteristics include minimal ego, inclusiveness, appreciation for diversity, and humility.
- To enrol in a Stanford program, you must be able to speak, read, listen, and write English fluently. The majority of Stanford’s graduate programs demand a TOEFL score of either 100iBT or 600PBT. - To begin, you must apply to, be accepted into, and enroll in a full-time Stanford graduate degree program in addition to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program. Each Knight-Hennessy Scholar must be a first-time student in a graduate program at Stanford, such as DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MD, MFA, MPP, MS, or PhD. There are no quotas based on program or discipline. Keep in mind that applicants who will spend at least two years at Stanford will be given precedence.

How to Apply for Stanford University Scholarships?
To be considered for this scholarship, please follow the steps outlined below:
- You must first set up an account and begin your online application.
- You must fill up and submit an online admissions application (containing personal and academic information, among other things). The university will need basic biographic and demographic information, as well as an explanation of your activities and interests.
- The following documents must be submitted:
- For each institution where you spent an academic year or more, give an unofficial or self-reported transcript of your college and, if relevant, graduate school academic achievement. If you cannot submit an unofficial transcript, you can utilise the self-reported transcript template. If relevant, your transcript must reflect both the degree conferred and the date of conferral. Transcripts from study-abroad experiences are not required if the credits are already recorded on your transcript.

- Two quick responses are provided: Please tell us eight unlikely facts about yourself. Please list three of your current aims or aspirations.
- Video report. Your video’s length cannot exceed two minutes. It’s fine if you can react in just 30 seconds. There is no necessity or expectation that you speak up the most.
- In-person evaluation
- All Knight-Hennessy Scholars applications must be submitted in English through our online application. They do not accept emails.
