Application for the President’s PhD Scholarship at Imperial College London
Please follow these admission guidelines to be eligible for this scholarship:
1. Scholarships don’t have a specific application. You must apply online through our admissions system in order to be eligible for a study at Imperial. Your department will propose you for the award based on your academic record and prospects.
2. Your upload should contain the following files:
- Two pages long, including the following components in your personal statement:
i) A one-page personal statement explaining why you are applying to Imperial and for the scholarship, together with any other materials you feel may strengthen your application but haven’t been included elsewhere on the form.
ii) The second page needs to contain the study proposal. If, after submitting your application, your department shortlists you for the scholarship, you can, if needed, send revised copies of your statement. You are advised to write in the first person.

- Provide only those references who can attest to your academic standing when requested for the names of two academic referees (such as your thesis supervisor or tutor).
